There are many articles in the news over July4th weekened about covid vaccinations. I am including snippets and the source of them so people can read them. If you read all of them, you will probably conclude as I did that covid vaccinations are still a risk as ompanies have exploited governments' deep pocketc to buy vaccines by the millions, and have promoted hype and propaganda about their effectiveness. There is a Holy Bible scripture that says to be wise as a serpent and as harmless as a dove. Certainly all people should read all the news on the subject. I am numbering for ease of reference. I have included the source and the date I rea and or watched it on news. This is a public service blof of mine as a Registered Nurse to promote the public's health.

The vaccine protected 64% of people against the illness between June 6 and early July, down from a previous 94%. The drop was observed as the delta variant was spreading in Israel, the Health Ministry said. It also coincided with the lifting of virus restrictions at the start of June."

7) Quote: "The Delta variant is increasingly circulating in the U.S., especially in areas of low vaccination, which is an ideal pathway for the virus to survive for longer, according to experts like Dr. Paul Offit, director of the Vaccine Education Center and professor of pediatrics in the Division of Infectious Diseases at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP)....That the variant is spreading more quickly is alarming, he said.
"It's not clear to me that it's more virulent, meaning that it's more likely to kill you, but it clearly is more contagious."

Also, this news that affects the public health:
9) CDC warning about RSV virus:
Quote: "Last week, the Centers for Disease Control warned about an unusual increase of cases of RSV, or Respiratory Syncytial Virus, particularly in southern states. The illness is common and is the typical cause of bronchiolitis and pneumonia in kids under 1 years old, but usually occurs during the colder fall and winter months - not in warm weather."...
RSV germs typically spread by coughing and sneezing.
"The reason why it's spreading now is unclear, but likely relates to the reason we didn't see much RSV and influenza in the winter: masking, distancing and good handwashing," says Dr. Elizabeth Murray, a pediatrician specializing in Pediatric Emergency Medicine and Child Health Advocacy and a member of PEOPLE's Health Squad. "As those precautions start to go away, we can expect germs to return."
And because the two viruses are similar, it can be tough to diagnose RSV."For now, a COVID-19 test is needed" to eliminate that as a possibility and diagnose someone with RSV, says Murray. "It's too hard to distinguish between the two without a test now that both germs are circulating."

Below are some of the changes by the Missouri Legislature including an act to prevent local health authorities from issing decrees:
JEFFERSON CITY — Missouri's attorney general is asking the U.S. Supreme Court to rule on the state's law banning abortions at or after eight weeks of pregnancy...
"A pre-natal diagnosis of Down syndrome should not be a death sentence," Schmitt said in a statement. "It's my hope that the Supreme Court will grant our petition for writ of certiorari and hear this critically important case."
[My comment: being in the womb should not be a death sentence for any human!]

Open records in Missouri case:
In a unanimous decision, the court ruled that state agencies could not charge lawyers fees for time they spend reviewing public records that are requested under the Sunshine Law. The decision, a reversal of a lower court ruling, is a victory for advocates of transparency and public records access."...
mong the most noteworthy points of the highest court's decision was relating to fees for legal review of documents — which are commonly included in estimates for records requests. Time spent for legal review "is not 'research time' required for fulfilling records requests," wrote Judge Patricia Breckenridge in the ruling, and requests can be completed without legal review time — a decision likely to drive down costs for many requests.

Missouri changes some laws:
"Insurance providers will be included in future civil disputes under House Bill 345, which only allows people to take legal action against those providers when that action is provided in written form. Senate Bill 106 updates the state's laws surrounding licensing and regulating financial institutions.
Parson will sign a number of other bills into law this week, including a tax on out-of-state internet sales (coined the "Wayfair tax")."...
Prior to this week, Parson has signed several significant pieces of legislation - including the Second Amendment Preservation Act, a gun law that has prompted a fight with the Biden Administration; and a law curbing the ability of local health authorities to enforce public orders."
